One of
two Damien Hirst ‘Spot’ bottles from the 1995 issues, this one has the larger
number of spot’s. It’s a near perfect example of the much sought after
edition due to the mania associated with any item by Damien Hirst.
From 1993
comes the Rachel Whiteread bottle of her molded house from the East End of
London. Both front and rear labels in perfect condition. A nice example that
does not unfortunately do justice to the actual house when it existed. |
Richard
Long produced a pair of labels in 1991 for Becks and this is the ‘River Avon
Mud Hand Circles’ edition. In nice condition with an intack foil making this
a pleasing addition to the range. 1 of an edition of 1000.
Not a
mark on this copy of the Yoko Ono bottle and with just a single version in
the year 2004. A nice example with perfect front and rear label’s but again
no serial number. This year the prize was won by Saskia Olde-Wolbers. |
Here’s an
example of the 2006 bottle with a design from Yinka Shonibare. Unfortunatly
the original owner of the bottle left it in there pocket at the awards dinner
and the rear and the foil have suffered a touch. |
A perfect
example of the 1990 Gilbert & George Central House of the Artists bottle.
This year a pair of bottles were produced as a follow on from the initial
offering from the pair in 1987. |
Chapman
brother’s strike back here with the face edition of the Rape of Creativity,
always a good talking point and this one like it’s partner with a perfect
foil and label set. Again no serial number but one of a limited run of 1000
bottles.
And heres
the other half of the pair from the Rape of Creativity issued in 2003, the
Scull and Cross bones which has become a continual feature of the Chapman
Brothers work, again not a mark on it. |
Jeff
Koons produced this bottle in in 2001 which is based upon Pamela Anderson and
was timed to coincide with his Easyfun-Etheral exhibition. The label is a
mixture of oil’s collage and digital technology. Unfortunatly the foil has a
mark over the beck’s logo.
Sam
Taylor-Wood produced this bottle in 2002, called ‘On The Waterfront’ it’s
typical of her style featuring an isolated human figure on a waterfront.
Again another perfect example of a Beck’s Futures bottle. |
Tatsuo
Miyajima’s bottle from 1997 is one of three labels that year. This one
encourages the owner to peal off the digital segments to reveal a number.
This example of the bottle has all it’s segments intact but has some marks on
the foil
Everybody
appears to have this one and here’s another example of the Tracey Emin bottle
from the year 2000. It’s got a slight mark on the foil but other than that
it’s in perfect condition. |
